01 · KNOW THE PIECE

Jade & Materials

What the name “jade” tells you, what it does not, and how to read the material details on a mixed-stone design.

What type of jade does LuckJade use?

Our collection includes both jadeite and nephrite. Some pieces also include Nanhong agate, pearl, amber, amethyst, lapis lazuli, enamel, wood or other materials. The product page identifies the materials used in that individual design instead of describing every component simply as “jade.”

Is every part of a LuckJade design made from jade?

Not always. A necklace may have a jade pendant on a metal chain; a bracelet may combine jadeite with Nanhong agate, enamel and gold-plated silver. Read the material list component by component. If you are unsure which part is jade, send us the product link and we will clarify it.

Is the jade natural or treated?

Each listing should state the material information available for that piece. Photographs, color, temperature and sound cannot reliably prove treatment status. When an independent report or specific treatment disclosure is available, it should be stated on the product page. If treatment status is important to your purchase, ask us before ordering.

Does every piece include a certificate?

No. A certificate is included only when the product page says that one is supplied. A report may cover one pendant or stone without covering every bead and accent in a complete necklace. Where a report is provided, compare its description, photograph, weight or dimensions and report number with the item you receive.

Why can the color differ slightly from the photograph?

Natural jade can show changes in color, translucency, texture and mineral pattern from one area to another. Daylight, studio lighting, camera white balance and your screen can also change the way green, lavender and blue-green tones appear. We use measurements for scale and aim to show the piece from more than one angle.

Can I test jade at home?

You can inspect the surface, drill holes, settings, measurements and weight, but home tricks cannot provide a reliable material identification. Do not scratch, burn, heat, drop or strike the jewelry. For a valuable or disputed piece, an independent gemological laboratory is the appropriate source of evidence.

Size & Fit

Use written measurements for the actual scale. Close-up photography is useful for detail, but it can make every piece look larger.

How do I choose a jade bracelet size?

Measure the wrist where the bracelet will sit using a flexible tape. Keep the tape against the skin without pulling it tight. Compare that number with the wrist-fit range on the product page. Bead diameter, number of strands and closure type also affect how the bracelet feels.

What does a 15–17 cm wrist fit mean?

It means the bracelet is designed for a wrist circumference between approximately 15 and 17 cm—not that the bracelet itself measures only 15–17 cm. A 5 mm single-strand elastic bracelet and a wider wrap bracelet can fit the same wrist range but feel very different.

How do I choose a necklace length?

Measure a necklace you already wear from clasp to clasp. Around 16 in (41 cm) sits close to the base of the neck, 18 in (46 cm) commonly reaches the collarbone, and 20 in (51 cm) falls slightly lower. Neck circumference, height, clothing and pendant weight can change the final position.

Are LuckJade rings adjustable?

Many of our current rings use an adjustable S925 sterling-silver band, but you should check the individual listing. An adjustable band still has a practical fit range and should be opened gradually. Repeatedly bending the band wider and narrower can weaken the metal or plating.

How can I judge earring size and comfort?

Check the front width, total drop, pair weight and fastening. Total drop tells you where the earring ends; pair weight helps you judge comfort; the closure affects how easy it is to put on and how securely it sits. Use worn photographs for proportion and written millimetres for actual scale.

03 · FROM SIHUI TO YOU

Orders & Shipping

Your order is checked before dispatch from Sihui, Guangdong, China. International transit can vary by destination and customs processing.

Where does LuckJade ship from?

Orders are prepared and dispatched from Sihui, Guangdong, China. Sihui is a major jade-working center where rough material, cutting, carving, polishing and jewelry assembly are carried out close to one another.

How long does order processing take?

We inspect the item, measurements, finish, setting or stringing before dispatch. Processing time can vary if a piece requires a size adjustment, restringing or another preparation step. If timing is important, contact us with the product link before ordering and we will confirm the current dispatch estimate.

How will I receive tracking information?

When tracking is available, it is sent to the email address used at checkout. You can also use our Order Tracking page with your order number and billing email. Tracking updates may take time to appear after a parcel is handed to the carrier.

How long does international delivery take?

Delivery time depends on the destination, carrier, customs inspection and local delivery network. An estimated transit window is not a guaranteed arrival date. If the parcel is for a birthday or another fixed occasion, contact us before ordering so we can tell you whether the timing is realistic.

Will I need to pay customs duties or import taxes?

International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes or carrier handling fees set by the destination country. These charges are not determined by LuckJade and may be collected from the recipient unless the checkout or order confirmation clearly states otherwise.

Can I change or cancel an order?

Contact us as soon as possible with the order number. We will confirm whether the shipping address, size or order can still be changed. Once a parcel has been handed to the carrier, it normally cannot be recalled or changed.

04 · AFTER DELIVERY

Returns & Care

Keep the packaging and product details until you have checked the material, measurements, fit and condition of your order.

What should I do before requesting a return?

Email us before sending anything back. Include the order number, the reason for the request and clear photographs when the issue concerns condition, size or an incorrect item. We will confirm eligibility, the correct return address and the instructions that apply to the order. Do not send a parcel to an address printed on a shipping label without first receiving return instructions.

What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?

Keep the outer packaging and contact us promptly. Send your order number together with photographs of the parcel, shipping label, protective packaging and the item itself. This allows us to document the condition and determine the appropriate next step.

Can worn earrings or adjusted jewelry be returned?

Return eligibility can be affected by hygiene, wear, resizing, restringing, engraving or another requested alteration. Please ask before returning earrings, adjusted rings, restrung bracelets or any customized piece. The item should not be worn beyond what is reasonably necessary to check fit and appearance.

Can an elastic jade bracelet be restrung?

Elastic cord is a wearable component and may eventually stretch or weaken. Stop wearing the bracelet if you notice fraying, a loose knot or an increasing gap between beads. Contact us with photographs and the order number so we can advise whether restringing is practical.

How should I clean and store jade jewelry?

Wipe the jewelry with a soft, dry cloth after wear. Avoid perfume, lotion, household chemicals, impact and prolonged moisture. Do not soak pieces that contain elastic, cord, pearls, plated silver, enamel, glue or mixed stones. Store each piece separately so metal parts and harder stones do not scratch one another.

Still deciding?

Send us the product link, your wrist measurement, or a clear photograph of the jewelry you are asking about. We usually reply within two business days.
